Welcome to The Harvard Club of Ottawa

The Club invites Harvard alumni to join with us in events that range from intimate off the record salons with public figures, and book club evenings, to tours of museums, panel discussions, dinners, networking pub nights, and joint events with the Harvard Club of Quebec in Montreal. As well we undertake activities that include interviewing applicants to Harvard College, raising funds for local charities and for Canadians attending Harvard, and providing summer internships for Harvard students.

The Harvard Club of Ottawa is honoured to join with other Harvard Clubs in Canada to share an important initiative that honours the Governor General of Canada, David Johnston ‘63.  The Canada at Harvard Financial Aid Fund will become The David Johnston Financial Aid Fund for Harvard Students from Canada after the Governor General leaves office in 2017.  We are proudly seeking individuals to join us in this effort.  We are only about $100,000 short of our goal.

The fund provides financial assistance to deserving men and women from Canada who are attending Harvard College. The Governor General is aware of this initiative and is “overwhelmed, humbled, and… honoured. I am so delighted with this initiative because it will mean future generations will have the Harvard experience which was so transforming in my own life.” For more information on the fund, please click here.
